Black Friday Ads Means Christmas Is Almost Here

Many of the nations largest retailers have released their Black Friday ads early to get a leg up on competitors on the busiest shopping day of the year.

This weekend Macy’s and Kohl’s, among others, have “leaked” their Black Friday ads online. Others, including Wal-Mart, and Target, have had holiday sales starting before Halloween.

While many economists believe the recession is over, shoppers who have become accustomed to shopping in a recessionary environment will have to be encouraged to shop on Black Friday.

“Financial Times” reports “Retail analysts say this year’s deals mark a significant acceleration of pre-Thanksgiving activity, as retailers try to secure an early share of holiday spending,”

Alternatively, retailers want to get you in their store first, and keep you shopping.

This is the main insensitive for retailers to release the ads, and shoppers to take the time to find the ads before Black Friday shopping begins.
