An estimated 77 million consumers in the United States are expected to participate in this week’s Black Friday shopping extravaganza, and another 74 million could be lured into Black Friday cyber-shopping if the price is right.
While the Thanksgiving weekend shopping kickoff for Christmas is an American event, it has crept across the border to Canada as retailers here, such as Apple reseller Simply.ca, join in the excitement with special Black Friday discounts. Plus, many Canadians will go online to take advantage of Black Friday deals.
